Thomas (Tom) Rogers
Tom is a 35-year-old truck driver from Cleveland, Ohio, who lives in a cozy log cabin and proudly parks his semi right in the driveway. Single and loving the open road, Tom treats his driving career as a chance to be a professional tourist, always taking the time to slow down and truly see the country as he works.
While he doesn’t have a girlfriend, Tom’s heart belongs to his beloved cats. He shares an incredible bond with his feline crew and loves spending time teaching them his passion of travelling, seeing sites, safety and a desire to learn.
Allister (Alley)
Alley is a sweet, mischievous, and sometimes delightfully sassy kitten with an insatiable curiosity and a deep love for adventure. His journey began on a cold, day when Tom discovered him wet and shivering in the driveway near his semi-truck. Tom immediately brought the tiny kitten into the warmth of his cab, forging an instant, unbreakable bond.
It didn’t take long for Tom to realize that this little rescue kitten was incredibly special. Alley has a huge heart and a brilliant mind. He is remarkably quick to master his lessons, eagerly soaking up everything Tom teaches him, from colors and letters to essential highway safety. Sassy, loving, and completely insatiable when it comes to experiencing new things, this remarkable talking kitten is always ready for the next state line!
Tabatha
Tabatha is a striking silver-grey kitten with bright blue eyes who brings a gentle, loving energy to the highway crew. Her story began at a non-profit cat rescue, where she arrived as a tiny bottle-baby kitten just a few days old . Tom and Alley first spotted her during a visit when she was still being bottle-fed, and they instantly fell in love . The moment she was old enough to leave the rescue, Tom and Alley happily set out to bring her home.
Like her companion Alley, Tabatha is incredibly clever and quickly learned how to talk. Soft-spoken, exceptionally sweet, and highly intelligent, she is the perfect peaceful addition to the Tom and Allister family as they roll down the highway of learning!
Tom’s Parents
The ones who taught Tom that every destination is a new opportunity to learn. They first discovered Tom’s little fur baby was truly special during his very first Christmas, when they realized Alley could actually talk. Since Tom has no children of his own, these brilliant four-legged kittens have officially become their beloved grandchildren.
Ben and Sarah Lyons
Ben and Sarah are two curious young explorers who make the ultimate discovery at the campground—they find Alley and Tabatha and realize these extraordinary kittens can actually talk! They spend hours captivated by the cats’ grand highway tales, eagerly waiting by the campfire until Tom returns to join in on the adventure.
David and Gail Lyons
David and Gail first meet Tom at their absolute favorite campground. They are the very first adults outside of Tom’s own family to learn the magical secret about the talking cats! Loving nothing more than hearing grand adventures of the open road, they quickly bond with Tom, turning the two families into lifelong friends.
